An ancient hay meadow plant, once prized for its medicinal properties for cattle and sheep, now coming back into popularity.

On Salisbury Plain it grows wild in such great swathes that we can put beehives in the middle of it and be happy they have everything they need. Nearly 4 months of nectar-rich flowers make the most delicious, almost citrussy mono-floral honey.

Very limited availability this season, hopefully more next year!
